Put a stop to fracking

Fracking company Cuadrilla has applied to the government for consent to start fracking.

We are now suing the government’s Environment Agency for failing to protect Lancashire’s environment from the risks of fracking.

Fracking involves firing a mix of water, sand and chemicals down a well to extract gas or oil. It poses risks to local people, and contributes to climate change.

Energy Secretary Greg Clark has the power to stop fracking and reject Cuadrilla’s application.

It would be reckless to let fracking start before our legal challenge is heard by the High Court.

Tell Greg Clark not to give the green light to fracking.
