Communities are being devastated by flooding and wildfires - both here and abroad. The climate emergency is here. And it’s already taking its toll.
Now that the election is over, we need as many MPs as possible to roll up their sleeves and start the urgent work of tackling the crisis.
As a constituent you have the power to make them listen.
In the run-up to the election, we asked candidates to sign a Climate Action Pledge promising to make the climate crisis a deal-breaker in how they vote in parliament. Almost 100 of them signed the pledge. If your MP took the pledge, please thank them and let them know that you’ll be holding them to account. If they didn’t, urge them to add their name now so they can join other parliamentarians to act to stop the climate emergency.
Will you email your MP today? Make sure they know that the climate emergency is for real – not just for elections.
